Food Network’s top-rated celebrity chef, Giada De Laurentiis, has reportedly landed a new restaurant at the luxury boutique Gaansevort Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. It is being transformed out of Bill's Gaming Hall & Saloon, at this moment a shell — but on target for a February 2014 opening with the gaming portion to be open for New Year's Day.
It will take two nights of Miss America competition to determine the winners for the new Miss Nevada and Miss Nevada Outstanding Teen titles Friday and Saturday. The 23 contestants are determined not to be overshadowed by the rival national Miss USA pageant taking place Sunday on the Strip.
