This weekend’s pool club openings signify the start of a summer season of sizzle, but two pool lounges jump-start the action today. The first clubs inviting guests to soak up the sun now that the warm weather has arrived are Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria and the topless Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage -- and, yes, the girls will doff their bikini tops to show they are ready for a total tan.

At Liquid’s three luxury VIP pools, a DJ sets the mood, with executive chef Brian Massie serving up taste treats in his 50-seat restaurant there. Each of the eight grand cabanas at Liquid comes with a 40-inch flat-screen TV. Dance till sunset or stretch out on the 34 chaise lounges and 28 daybeds.

We’ll have a full rundown of all the other weekend openings in our weekly Weekend Celebrity Preview on Friday.
