How’s this for short notice (less than four hours)? Think you’re the next Magic Mike? Chippendales at The Rio is hosting auditions today at 5 p.m. at Chippendales Theater for the World Tour of the long-running adult-male revue.
Chippendales dancers Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis, who recently finished as runners-up on CBS’ “The Amazing Race,” will be on hand as judges. They started with the Chippendales World Tour in 2007 before moving to The Rio.
The requirements: Males must possess the charisma and good looks to shine onstage. The ability to learn choreography, with training, is a must. Athletes, models and actors are encouraged to apply. Additional skills (singing, musical instruments, breakdancing, acrobatics) are a plus. Candidates must bring their own tracks and/or instruments to audition.
Check back Thursday for coverage of the auditions. Too short of notice to wash your sexy skivvies? Auditions will be held in L.A. at 5 p.m. Feb. 19 at Madilyn Clark Studios in North Hollywood.
