Singer Sean Paul hosted and performed at Tao in The Venetian on Friday night alongside DJ Mauricio. The Jamaican singer dined at the restaurant before making his way upstairs to the nightclub; actor and comedian Pauly Shore also dined at Tao.
Sean, joined by a group of friends including Luxor headliner magician Criss Angel (“Believe”), stood atop his booth to look at the crowded dance floor. His set included “Like Glue,” “Gimme the Light,” “Temperature” and “Give It Up to Me.”
Afterward, he was presented with a three-tier cake topped with a gold chain in celebration of his 40th birthday this month. Also at Tao: Julius Peppers of the Chicago Bears celebrating his 33rd birthday with friends and Elvis Dumervil of the Denver Broncos partying with friends at a VIP table.
Last Thursday at Tao, Dallas Cowboys players Morris Claiborne and Gerald Sensabaugh partied together with friends at a VIP table on the dance floor.
At sister hotspot Marquee in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, singer Jay Sean was seen with friends at a set of VIP booths in the club’s main room. The group enjoyed a special delivery of cupcakes while taking in the sounds of DJ Dirty South.
