Following up on my report Tuesday, Nicole “Coco” Austin confirmed to me Tuesday night that BASE Entertainment producers and she have met to work out ways she can continue on as “Peepshow” at Planet Hollywood headliner when her contract ends March 15.

“I’m having the best time of my life with the show,” she told me. “We’re trying to find a sensible way for me to be able to get various weeks off to be able to go back east so I can get our new home finished and so [husband Ice-T] and I don’t spend too much time apart.

“If we can do that -- and we are both confident we can -- I’ll be in ‘Peepshow’ forever.”

LFL CHANGES: Our Las Vegas-headquartered Lingerie Football League is undergoing major changes as of today. Although team names will remain the same -- thus, the Las Vegas Sin is intact -- it will now be known as the Legends Football League, and the lingerie outfits will be replaced with sexy showbiz performance wear.

Logo designs of sexy female figures will be removed, and shoulder pads will be redesigned to increase protection. It will no longer be known as “True Fantasy Football,” but rather “Women of the Gridiron.” It’s all part of global growth for the game as NBC Sports is partnering with the league to ensure that its future is credible as a sport.

COUNTER INTELLIGENCE

* First it was “The Voice”; now comes “The Taste,” a new ABC series with chef Ludo Lefebvre, who opened Lavo in the Palazzo as its first chef. He’s joined by British food star Nigella Lawson, chef Anthony Bourdain and San Diego restaurateur Brian Malarkey. On Jan. 22, 29 chefs chosen from a nationwide casting call will be auditioned on television and promptly cut to 16 for the series starting a week later. The food stars mentor and coach the teams of four cooks to battle one another.

* Vegas DeLuxe has an advance look at the new feminine-touch sports restaurant Heraea taking the place of Gardunos at the Palms. The One Group (STK, Bagatelle) plans to open Heraea and its Asian bistro neighbor Xi Shi within 30 days. Meantime, the Palms will open its 24-hour whiskey-centric casino center bar Social on Jan. 25 to go with its newly opened mixology bar Scarlet located in a jewel-box lounge at the entrance of N9NE Steakhouse.

COUNTRY ACTOR: Movie-screen star Jeff Bridges won his first Oscar as a down on his luck alcoholic country singer in “Crazy Heart.” The six-time nominee has taken the role to heart because tickets go on sale Friday for his first Las Vegas performance with songs from his self-titled debut solo album.

He’ll play Santa Fe Station on April 19 and Red Rock Resort on April 20. Jeff stars in his newest film, “R.I.P.D.” with Mary-Louise Parker, Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Bacon this summer.

MISSING CHILDREN CHARITY: More than 40 celebrities including my longtime friends John O’Hurley and “America’s Most Wanted” host John Walsh join with longtime former “Entertainment Tonight” host Mark Steines tonight for a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children benefit at the Bellagio.

Also expected: rocker Alice Cooper, comedian Bill Engvall, actor Kevin Sorbo, actor Richard Burqi and singer and Las Vegas resident Pia Zadora. It’s the 14th year for the Canon USA-sponsored fundraiser, and the stars will raise more money Thursday at a celebrity golf challenge at our Tournament Players Club.
