‘Pawn Stars’ and porn: Too racy for History Channel, but OK in L.V.

“Pawn Stars” sales assistant Olivia Black may have been let go from the hit History Channel TV series because of sexy photos from her racy past, but she’s keeping her place at the bricks-and-mortar store Gold & Silver Pawn on Las Vegas Boulevard.
The 27-year-old brunette admitted the problems after sexy photographs of her reportedly working for the soft-core porn website SuicideGirls.com were published online.
“I still adore my bosses fully -- it’s no fault of the guys,” she said.
Gold & Silver Pawn owner Rick Harrison told Vegas DeLuxe: “The recent reports that Olivia had been fired were the result of much confusion, misinformation and lack of communication. Unfortunately, the team at Gold & Silver Pawn were unaware that she had been notified by production that she would no longer be a part of the TV show.
“That does not change her employment at Gold & Silver Pawn, where we are happy to clarify that she is still a valued part of our team and continues to work with us. Look for her to do some fan meet-and-greets right after the first of the year when we all return from our holiday breaks.”
“Pawn Stars” remains a monster hit on the cable outlet and is joined this year by other TV series and big-screen films with strong affiliations to Las Vegas.
Olivia’s news follows the bombshell revelation that three-time Olympian Suzy Hamilton had worked for a year for a Las Vegas escort service. The married mother’s astounding secret life earned her $600 an hour for sexual shenanigans at the same time she shot a swimsuit calendar, a Nike TV commercial and worked Disney promotions.
She has said that her “extracurricular activity” was “a huge mistake.”
