The steakhouse end of the venture, a partnership between Morton’s and actress Eva Longoria, will remain open, and according to a statement released today, the nightclub space upstairs will be repositioned as a special-events venue.

This is the second nightlife operation to close in the CityCenter location. The space first featured Eve Nightclub, which also was owned by Longoria and closed in July 2011. Longoria’s Beso Steakhouse, the first incarnation of the SHe restaurant space, closed in last August.
