Rumors have surfaced that singer Olivia Newton-John is planning a Strip residency. The English-born Australian singer-songwriter and actress who has won four Grammy Awards is in preliminary discussions with Las Vegas hotel executives for a concert run here.

Discussions are in preliminary stages, but Olivia, on a sellout tour next week in North Carolina and Pennsylvania before a March tour in Great Britain, has said that she would like to settle in a Las Vegas venue this fall. She plays the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London on March 13.

Olivia, whose many hits include “Physical,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You” and “Heart Attack,” performed in a “Grease” I’m Coming Home reunion with co-star John Travolta for the charity video “I Think You Might Like It” -- 35 years after they first sang together.

John was here with wife Kelly Preston at the Wynn this past weekend planning a benefit this fall for military heroes to be held at the hotel. While in town, the couple dined at Serendipity 3 at Caesars Palace.
