It’s Wicked Whispers & Racy Rumors galore on hump day.
Has Latin heartthrob singer Luis Miguel rekindled his romance with reality TV star Brittny Gastineau while they’ve been together in Las Vegas? On Tuesday night, they turned up cozy and hand-in-hand at Rao’s in Caesars Palace. Brittny is the longtime best friend of Kim Kardashian, the two of whom had a nasty bust-up last November.
Brittny, a celebrity model for Elite, is the 28-year-old daughter of legendary New York Jets player Mark Gastineau. Luis and Brittney reportedly flew here from a vacation in Cabo San Lucas for his Mexican Independence Day Weekend of shows at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace, and they stayed on to play here.
On Monday, the couple were at Hyde Bellagio. Luis and Brittny steadily dated last year, with friends predicting that they’d marry -- but they broke up. I’m told that they met again recently in New York and decided to see if it would work better the second time around.
I’m hearing reliable buzz that the Motley Crue and KISS tour has been such a big box office success this summer that offers have been made for them to book dates for an even longer tour and to Europe next year for most of 2013. The current tour for Las Vegas rockers Vince Neil and Paul Stanley wraps in Connecticut at the end of the month.
Congratulations to “Zumanity” milk-bath star dancer Vanessa Convery, who went on maternity leave before Tuesday night’s ninth anniversary at New York-New York, as she’s expecting twins.
The only male dancer in “iCandy Burlesque: the Show” at Saxe Theater in Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile leaves the comforts of the eight beautiful curvy dancers to move to Washington state to pursue his doctorate in acupuncture and study organic farming.
Don’t know how Cee Lo Green persuaded the Muppets to join his “Cee Lo and Friends” concert to benefit our beloved Keep Memory Alive charity benefit at Planet Hollywood on Oct. 10, but Rod Stewart, who also will perform, said yes before Cee Lo had finished his pitch.
Rod returned today for his new run of his residency shows at Caesars Palace starting tonight through Oct. 7. He’ll jet back and forth from his Los Angeles home in between the performances.
A 4-year-old German shepherd being cared for by the new Las Vegas Shepherd Rescue Mission rescuing abandoned, abused and surrendered dogs cast its own magical spell on the Luxor’s Cirque du Soleil headliner Criss Angel. Now Oso has been adopted by the “Believe” magician as the second for the rescue operation.
