Premiere of Season 7 of ‘Ghost Adventures’ posts record ratings

The Season 7 premiere of hometown TV producer Zak Bagans’ hit Travel Channel show “Ghost Adventures” was its highest-rated debut in the history of the series. Zak, whose new series “Paranormal Paparazzi” premieres Sept. 28, told me: “These new ‘Ghost Adventures’ episodes are an all-new evolution of our investigation methods.

“We have strived to excel further in our research, scientific methods of obtaining evidence, our debunking and more importantly our knowledge of the paranormal. With these elements, we are tackling locations with bigger untold stories that are at the true heart of the hauntings ... and ultimately the reason for the hauntings.

“Diving into these stories and finding secret details and connections to the spirits is what true paranormal investigations are all about and these new episodes present. It’s why I believe our ratings are so huge. We want to share this with the world: We know that death is simply a transition to another form of our energy ... and this energy can still show intelligence and interact with the living even after our bodies die.

“That is powerful. That is why we will continue to do what we are supposed to. If you choose not to believe, we don’t care. ... We know this is happening and that is all that matters!” All-new episodes of “Ghost Adventures” air on the Travel Channel every Friday at 9 p.m. Zak debuts his first album Oct. 23.
