A few Wicked Whispers & Racy Rumors on this Tuesday:
Watch for a big entertainment announcement of a new Strip residency in the next 48 hours.
Keep April 13 next year clear for one of the largest entertainment extravaganzas ever headed to Las Vegas.
Cirque du Soleil has posted its new signs and wraps over the old Rum Jungle at Mandalay Bay announcing its new nightclub partnership there with the Light Group.
Which porn stars were slightly injured in an elaborate pool incident while filming a new adult movie here Monday at an anonymous millionaire’s mansion?
Which former girlfriend of a Las Vegas entertainer is offering a slew of sexy models to nightclubs here as “private escorts” for single, male high rollers?
What two rival nightclubs have indicated a need for “atmosphere models” to work as champagne hostesses?
Just how much money is the nightclub industry sucking out of the hotel and gaming economy? I’m hearing outrageous VIP table prices -- some as high as $30,000 --- and champagne bottle charges -- some as high as $5,000 -- that leaves nothing for visitors to spend at gaming tables, in restaurants, at shows and shopping.
It’s apparently so bad that some of the affected are behind in paying bills. The distressing news came to light with appallingly weak Labor Day numbers -- except for records broken at nightclubs.
