Despite two fractured bones in his foot and being in a cast and on crutches, hometown rocker Vince Neil vows to continue the current tour of his band Motley Crue with fellow legendary rockers KISS.

On a phone call from Toronto on Friday night, Vince said that he was in pain but determined to rock on. He planned last night to sit in a throne chair center stage for a reduced number of Crue hit songs.

“Even though he’s got two broken bones in his foot, he is performing for the rest of the tour. He is a trooper,” said band mate Nikki Sixx.

Vince broke his foot in two places during Thursday’s Ohio concert stop when extra steps were added to a stage exit production number and he hadn’t been told about the change.

He fell as the finale ended and although in pain traveled on by tour bus to Toronto, where doctors ordered X-rays to determine the extent of his injury. They discovered the double break. Vince is now in a foot-and-ankle cast and on crutches to help him walk.

He said: “The show must go on. I thank my fans for their support and am sorry to disappoint them with a limited performance. I’m sorry it’s impossible to give them the show they deserve.”

Vince thanked me for sending best wishes from Vegas DeLuxe readers for a speedy rehab process. He plans to return to Las Vegas to rest, heal and exercise when the tour ends in Hartford, Conn., on Sept. 23.
