It’s the wildest revelry you’ve ever seen; the delicious daytime debauchery is so insane, you’ll think the party is continuing -- without sleep -- from the night before.

Welcome to Season 2 of Ghostbar Dayclub at the Palms, where go-go girls in peek-a-boo bras and thigh-high silver sparkling boots ensure that the champagne is popping and the pinatas are pulverized.

The weekly wild platinum party has returned for a second year, and a thousand revelers -- many in playful costumes -- keep the five hours of fun festivities at maximum high energy.

When I looked in this past weekend, there were outrageous options to gaze upon: girls dancing atop the bar and a sexy costume contest won by a would-be angel from the Victoria’s Secret catalog. Our thanks to contributing photographer Aaron Garcia of 9 Group for capturing all the mad excitement.

GBDC is called “the beast” because it’s big, and the drinking is ferocious. Five party people can synchronize their Bacardi Shot Ski shoots; a 40-ounce magnum bottle of beer is discreetly hidden inside a brown paper bag; and the bejeweled beer bong challenges are a nonstop, drink-it-all-down date with destiny with a highly trained cocktail server in a tutu to help with the pour.

Chef Barry Dakake from the Palms’ N9NE Steakhouse is on hand with a barbecue food cart to serve hot dogs and chicken for the hungry hoards. Party monsters from all over the world join with celebrities and star DJs for the weekly, uninhibited, anything goes bash, and this year with the confetti explosions, it’s already wilder than the first.

The dress code is “the more outlandish the better.” There are lusty ladies on sky-high stilts, spontaneous showers of champagne, bubble-blowing guns and adult-friendly goodies when the pinatas pop. GBDC promises resident DJs weekly, including DJ Zen Freeman, Sex Panther, Mark Stylz and Alie Layus, plus, popular recording artists.

The purpose of this party is to have unlimited fun; GBDC does it so well that they even remind that Pop Rocks aren’t banned and are completely safe. But keep them in your mouth and not in or on other body parts!
