R&B singer and heartthrob Ginuwine celebrated his 42nd birthday hosting and performing at LAX in the Luxor on Saturday night. Ginuwine, dapper in a vest, a dress shirt and fashionable denim, arrived after 1 a.m., and his group and he made their way to a VIP table on the main stage.

A group of gorgeous cocktail servers presented Ginuwine with a two-tiered, black-and-silver birthday cake that was decorated with music notes, and he held it up for clubgoers and fans to see. About 2 a.m., Ginuwine’s official DJ Fellin got on the mic to introduce Ginuwine and welcomed him to center stage.

He performed “Hell Yeah,” “Same Ol’ G,” “So Anxious” and “In Those Jeans” during his set and took a moment to say to the crowd, “I love you all, I love LAX. You guys always give me love when I come out here.” He also promoted his upcoming album with new R&B group TGT, saying he hopes to return to Las Vegas to perform with them. The nighttime revelers sang “Happy Birthday” to Ginuwine before he ended his performance with the super-sexy “Pony,” another thank you and a bow.

Ginuwine happily posed for photographs with fans in his VIP booth and spent the rest of the night partying with his friends. Before hosting at the Angel Management Group hotspot, Ginuwine attended comedian and actor Chris Tucker’s show in the Pearl at the Palms.
