Strip Scribbles: Gordon Ramsay’s dual opening celebrations in L.V.

It will be a set of opening-day celebrations for chef Gordon Ramsay when he’s back on the Strip in mid-December. We’ve already revealed that he’ll be here for the hoped-for Dec. 11 opening of his sleek, modern, London-styled gastropub Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace. Now we officially hear that he’s staying on for the Dec. 17 opening of his Flame Burger overlooking the Strip and Extra Lounge’s north entrance at Planet Hollywood.

It was reported elsewhere that it would open in the spring, but not so -- now months earlier. Gordon will spend this weekend here to check the progress on both projects that follow the mega-success of Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris. Three in a year is great going -- and a Strip record for restaurant openings by one chef.

A sneak peek at the nearly 6,000-square-foot bistro indicates the feel of a diner with red counter stools and banquettes. There isn’t a soda fountain but instead self-serve beer-keg points in the main dining zone alongside the bar and lounge areas. Colors of every kind seem to be the order of the day with metal beams, aged ironwork and bronze lighting.

WICKED WHISPERS & RACY RUMORS

Is “Jersey Shore” star Jennie “JWoww” Farley considering an offer to star in “Peepshow” at Planet Hollywood when Coco Austin’s run wraps in March? Our exclusive Q+A with actor and rapper Ice-T’s wife -- who can’t wait to take it off! -- was posted today.

Are “Peepshow” producers dangling an offer for a huge comedy name to do a residency at the same Planet Hollywood theater as part of their expansion plans for the theater’s use?

Are Flamingo hotel executives auditioning candidates to take over the just-vacated Nathan Burton show slot?

Apologies, as I jumped ahead of myself in a reported deal with “Iron Chef” Morimoto to take over Japonais at the Mirage. Reliable sources now advise me that there have been conversations between the hotel and the chef -- but as of now no contract.

STAR SURVEILLANCE

Motley Crue rocker and hometown hero Vince Neil was able to take off the boot helping him heal from two fractured bones in his foot when we had dinner at STK in the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. He’s back to a slipper and told me that he’ll be perfect again when the rockers head to Australia to resume the joint tour with KISS in January. Meantime, he has solo gigs and will promote his new line of vodka named after his many tattoos.
