One of the busiest Playboy Playmates and a Las Vegas favorite has been signed to a Las Vegas production show.

Claire Sinclair, the 2010 October Playmate and 2011 Playmate of the Year, is to be a featured performer at the show replacing “Bite” at the Stratosphere early next year.

“Bite” closes its seven-year run at the Stratosphere on Halloween, and the latest chatter is it is headed downtown to the Plaza.

The new show planned for the Strat has no formal title but will feature a live band and play off Sinclair’s image as a calendar girl. Plans are for a throwback theme harkening to the 1940s.

Sinclair is in town to attend the final performance tonight of “Crazy Horse Paris,” a show in which she has guest-starred at MGM Grand. The new show at the Stratosphere won't be a topless production.

How Sinclair will be used in the Stratosphere production has not been specified, but she does have stage experience as a dancer and none as a singer (the show will soon be auditioning vocalists for that role). She also performs as a DJ in clubs across the country. The production will run five nights a week and follow Frankie Moreno’s show in the Stratosphere Showroom.

As is the case with Moreno’s show, the Stratosphere is financially backing the new production at the hotel.
