The 2012 Soul Train Awards red carpet and show taping took place at PH Live in Planet Hollywood on Thursday, the first day of three marking the annual celebration.
Cedric the Entertainer hosted the awards, and performers and presenters included Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Jamie Foxx, Ne-Yo, Gladys Knight, Tyrese, Keri Hilson, Keyshia Cole, “Dr. J” Julius Erving, Magic Johnson, Jody Watley, Flavor Flav, Estelle, Fantasia, Ben Vereen, George Wallace and more.
The awards airs Sunday, Nov. 25, on BET and Centric. The awards weekend also included a tribute to Flamingo comedy headliner Wallace on Friday night and a Lifetime Achievement show Saturday night honoring New Edition.
