Team Chippendales is still in ‘The Amazing Race’ on CBS

Roaring into the sixth week of CBS’ top-rated “The Amazing Race,” our two Chippendales contestants Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis wound up continuing on their monster global trek to Istanbul, Turkey.
It was a much welcomed escape from the previous week’s near collapse and exhausting challenges in Bangladesh, so much so that James and Jaymes even admitted on camera on Sunday night’s episode that “it was a delightful change.”
However, their first decision to take the Metro instead of a taxi from the airport to the ferry proved nearly disastrous. Our handsome hunks from the Rio figured the cabs would get tied up in traffic, but after one train stop, they jumped out and reverted to a taxi.
Team Chippendales' Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis at a Turkish bathhouse on CBS' "The Amazing Race" on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012.
James and Jaymes turned down the challenge of transporting Turkish bagels on their heads in favor of a traditional Turkish bathhouse scrub without knowing it would be buckets of very cold water. Afterward, they carried a long teapot to serve 40 glasses of drinks to see which team would earn the most money. They finished ahead of time and crossed the finish line in 5th place.
Our male revue dancers couldn’t have been happier, and next week they continue onto Copenhagen, Denmark, where goat racing is on the agenda and a double U-turn shakes up the standings of the six remaining teams.
“The Amazing Race” airs on CBS at 8 p.m. PT on Sundays.
