It’s official: Electric Daisy Carnival loves Las Vegas. Insomniac Events, producers of the massive annual electronic-music festival, has announced 2013 dates that will bring EDC to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the third straight summer, June 21-23.

“Electric Daisy Carnival 2012 was really special to us,” Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac’s founder and CEO, said in a press statement. “The energy, love and sense of community surpassed anything we have ever experienced. It was humbling and inspirational.”

EDC 2012 drew more than 320,000 attendees over its three nights, with a single-night high of 115,000.

Although limited information remains available about the months-away event, one new detail stands out: Single day passes will not be made available this year, so plan accordingly, EDM fans.

Also, a limited allotment of "pre-sale" tickets will be made available on Wednesday, November 7, beginning at noon Las Vegas time through electricdaisycarnival.com. Pre-sale pricing will be tiered, increasing from $199 to $259, with VIP tickets going for $450. Layaway options will be offered, for tickets sold during the pre-sale and January 9 general sale, except those sold at the lowest-tiered price.

EDC Week, a series of EDM-focused parties and gatherings complementing the main festival, will return, June 18-25. One, Insomniac’s EDM Biz conference, has been confirmed for June 18-20. Other notable 2012 EDC Week events included a party at the Cosmopolitan’s Boulevard Pool and sets by Richie Hawtin and Carl Cox at Drai’s Afterhours.

Insomniac has also announced a number of transportation and parking initiatives in hopes of reducing traffic and improving overall EDC experience. Among them: a dedicated route for taxis and shuttles, additional parking staffing and additional lanes in and out of the event.

“We listen to our fans and accept their guidance,” Rotella said in the statement. “Our team is already working diligently with Las Vegas, the local authorities, and the Speedway to improve traffic flow to make EDC 2013 the best experience yet."
