For the record, there were no blood, bite marks or mad midnight mayhem. Nobody arose from a coffin or brought strings of garlic and a crucifix. There were no fanged teeth or swooping bats. The closest we got was a happy couple enjoying Bloody Marys.

But starlet Kat Graham of the CW’s “The Vampire Diaries” still drew plenty of excitement as she arrived at Pure in Caesars Palace to host a Rock the Vote party. Just like Transylvania tourists who have strayed off the path, this, too, was an unforgettable experience.

It was minutes after midnight this morning when Kat had the crowd in a frenzy -- OK, maybe mad midnight mayhem after all -- with cameras and cell phones flashing. Kat would stop any vampire dead in his tracks with her black spandex leggings embellished with white design, along with a white cut-off shirt, gold spiked heels and small, round vintage sunglasses. Fans cheered as she introduced her backup dancers to photographers on the red carpet.

After a quick costume change, Kat got really cool for her 1 a.m. performance in her signature-look jean shorts, black tights, ankle combat boots, black bra with gold sparkled shoulder pads and a red flannel shirt tied around her waist as she took the main stage with her dancers.

Kat’s performance became a show-stopping production not only with her dancers but also two contortionists who had clubgoers in awe. Our thanks to contributing photographer Erik Kabik for his photo gallery as Kat sang her singles “Put Your Graffiti on Me” and “Against the Wall.”

After the short set, Kat returned to her VIP table, where she partied, drank and danced into the pre-dawn hours. Plenty of time, though, before sunrise, when all good vampires must be tucked away for the day.
