Pop princess Rihanna has given credit in her new film “Battleship” to former U.S. Navy rescue swimmer Jacqueline Carrizosa, who is the range master at Machine Guns Vegas. Jacqueline is one of the four beauties who act as guides, guards and instructors at the shooting range and trained Rihanna for her tough-girl role of Petty Officer Raikes in the action-adventure film as U.S. ships battle an alien armada bent on Earth’s destruction.

Jackie worked with Rihanna and director Peter Berg and was invited to be on the red carpet for the film’s premiere in L.A. Rihanna, who underwent a lot of physical acting and ocean swimming, said she even copied Jackie’s tattoos: “I based my entire character on Jackie.”

“She’s this badass weapons officer; she knows everything about weapons, not only hers, but all the weapons on board. It really got me into the emotion of the character. She’s a fighter. She’s a killer. She’s not afraid of anything. She likes a challenge because she can handle it.”

Check out our Las Vegas Sun colleague Ron Sylvester’s recent interview with Jackie.

Stunning Las Vegas model Hope McBane wowed the celebrity contestants on the new Fox dating show “The Choice” with her looks and comedy, making it through the three elimination rounds. But it came down to “American Idol” Season 5 winner Taylor Hicks’ choice between Hope the blonde and another contestant, a brunette.

Taylor said he’d never been out with a blonde, so he chose Hope’s rival! Taylor opens an eight-week summer run at Bally’s on Tuesday, so we’ll see if the brunette is in the front row. On the previous episode, Haze VIP model server Shannon Kelly was chosen by “Mad Men’s” Parker Young for the winning date.

Our Las Vegas-headquartered Lingerie Football League is getting its own video game. Developers Yuke (WWE Smackdown, UFC Undisputed) plan to have the game ready by the end of this year.

It will be a reunion for showman Tony Sacca when he takes his “Taste of Vegas” to Hollywood this weekend. His Old Vegas musical includes his Sexy Saccettes. Tony rediscovered Chelsea Brenier when he auditioned in Hollywood for backup singer dancers. She was only 6 when she first entertained with him at three White House performances he produced.

The other Saccette will be Amanda Kaiser from “Nunsense” at the LVH. Tony, who has hosted TV’s “Entertainment Las Vegas Style” for the past 28 years, has woven the history of Vegas through musical references from former headliners Elvis Presley, Bobby Darin, Louis Prima and Keely Smith for his Hollywood production.
