Photos: Nick Cannon finally returns to his DJ residency at Chateau

Just a few days before his hit NBC reality TV competition “America’s Got Talent” airs its three days of auditions in Las Vegas, host Nick Cannon made his highly anticipated (and often-postponed) return to Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at the Paris on Saturday night.
The TV host, singer, actor and comedian previously canceled three planned DJ appearances at the Paris hotspot due to kidney and other medical ailments he was battling in recent months. Before making his DJ residency return, Cannon talked on the red carpet about what to expect from the show that brought Las Vegas the Mirage headliner Terry Fator, the Season 2 winner and the show’s first $1 million recipient.
“There are going to be a lot of surprises,” said the always stylish Cannon, who was without wife Mariah Carey. “A lot of people you may have been excited about in their first auditions, you might not be this time around in Las Vegas.” Cannon also expressed a favorite in the show, 10-year-old Sebastian de la Cruz, who performed with a full mariachi band the first time around.
Onlookers gathered around the DJ booth waiting for the star dressed in all black save for a white T-shirt. As Cannon yelled, “Las Vegas, make some noise!,” fans screamed in excitement and snapped photographs as he spun hits, including hometown hero Ne-Yo’s new single “Let’s Go” with Scottish superstar DJ Calvin Harris.
Before Chateau, Cannon dined at nearby Sugar Factory American Brasserie in the Paris, where he enjoyed mini turkey burgers and bruschetta. Cannon also made a quick stop at the adjoining retail store, where he selected his and hers matching Sugar Factory T-shirts for his 1-year-old twins with Carey.
