Season 4 of Bravo’s popular “Top Chef Masters” was filmed at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, so it was appropriate that Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan would be the site of the Season 4 premiere party Wednesday night.
In attendance: Season 4 host and Australian heartthrob chef Curtis Stone, “TCM” Season 4 judges Francis Lam, James Oseland and Krista Simmons, “TCM” Season 3 cheftestant Hugh Acheson, Season 3 cheftestant Mary Sue Milliken of Border Grill at Mandalay Bay, Season 2 cheftestant Jonathan Waxman and Season 2 cheftestant Rick Moonen of RM Seafood at Mandalay Bay.
Also: chef David Myers of Comme Ca at the Cosmopolitan and Season 4 cheftestants Patricia Yeo (Om Restaurant & Lounge/Moksa Pan Asian Izakaya), Art Smith (LYFE Kitchen/Southern Art Restaurants), Sue Torres (Suenos), Kerry Heffernan (a chef in NYC), Debbie Gold (Kansas City’s the American Restaurant), Mark Gaier (Arrows) and Clark Frasier (Arrows).
The Cosmopolitan was the host resort for Season 4, and cheftestants resided and competed at the property. The competition included the participants working with the culinary kings and queens at the Cosmopolitan. There are no Las Vegas chefs competing in Season 4.
The premiere party was open to the public; included a viewing of the episode (of course), food stations and complementary beverages -- Miller Genuine Draft(!); and commenced the Cosmopolitan’s weekly “TCM” Season 4 viewing parties at Boulevard Pool every Wednesday at 9 p.m. Viewing parties -- non-ticketed, open to the public and all-ages -- are scheduled for Aug. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and Sept. 5, 12, 19, with the finale Sept. 26.
