The Entertainment Capital of the World morphs into the Culture Capital of the World this weekend, with music legends Aretha Franklin, Stephen Sondheim and K.D. Lang sharing the spotlight with global heartthrobs Il Divo.
But if they aren’t your cup of tea, and beer or soda is more in your wheelhouse, also in town: Demi Lovato with Hot Chelle Rae and Aaron Lewis of Staind. It’s been a while, hasn’t it?
For sports fans, the NBA Summer League tips off today, and Amir Khan and his posh British accent battle Danny Garcia. For nightlife fans, Diddy, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas and DJ Porter Robinson lead the party people.
And in this week’s Jerry Lewis watch, Editor at Large John Katsilometes in his The Kats Report reveals that Lewis has been approached about being a judge on “American Idol” and explains why Lewis’ show in Primm has been canceled.
We say save the drama for Wilmer Valderrama. Robin Leach is on vacation all month in Italy, but we nonetheless unveil his Royal Robin Rundown:
