U2 frontman Bono, wife Ali and daughter Eve celebrating her 21st birthday watched “The Beatles’ Love” by Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage. It was his first time, and he sang and danced along to the Fab Four’s music. Backstage, he complimented the cast and crew on the breakaway Volkswagen and playfully asked when Cirque was going to make a show based on the music of U2.

Celebrities at STK in the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas included 2012 NBA MVP LeBron James of the Miami Heat, L.A. Lakers star Kobe Bryant and Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” Gretchen and Kobe used STK’s new pink sapphire steak knife encrusted with diamonds on separate nights.

Spotted at Celine Dion’s show at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace: Joey Fatone, star stylist Chaz Dean and William Lee Golden of the Oak Ridge Boys. English football players Joe Hart and Joleon Lescott enjoyed surf and turf dinners with their girlfriends at Old Homestead Steakhouse in Caesars Palace.

“True Justice” star Steven Seagal and UFC 148 champion Anderson Silva partied at Vanity Nightclub in the Hard Rock Hotel, where Anderson signed a UFC T-shirt right off the back of two fans with help from good friend Steven (the pals also dined at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at MGM Grand while in town). Paul Oakenfold spun at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Nectar Music Festival. Also at Vanity, Mix Master Mike, Dominick Cruz and Paul Wall.

Redfoo of LMFAO was at Marquee Dayclub in Cosmopolitan with his Party Rock Crew for DJ Sander Van Doorn’s turn at the tables. Holly Madison and Laura Croft were at Republic Kitchen and Bar in Henderson enjoying jazz and fried peanut butter and jelly desserts.

UFC Hall of Famer Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell hosted his official Headrush Party at LAX in the Luxor. He met with fans, posed for photographs and handed out Headrush memorabilia as he partied into the pre-dawn hours. DJ Steve Aoki watched David Copperfield’s magic show at MGM Grand.

Brad Garrett and Kevin Nealon watched Donny & Marie Osmond’s show in the Flamingo and afterward posed for photographs backstage. “Smash” star Megan Hilty spent the weekend at the Palazzo with her boyfriend Brian. The couple stayed in a Lago Suite, dined at First Food & Bar and relaxed at Azure Luxury Pool.

Choreographer Criss Judd also was in town for a weekend getaway. R&B and soul artist B.J. the Chicago Kid performed at Boulevard Pool in the Cosmopolitan, and fans swayed to “Fly Girl Get ‘Em,” “Sex x Money x Sneakers” and “Freak.” Deborah Gibson and her boyfriend Dr. Rutledge Taylor dined at Joe’s Stone Crab in the Forum Shops at Caesars.

MMA star Frank Trigg partied at Encore Beach Club. Actor Sean Patrick Flanery partied at Surrender Nightclub, where “Mindfreak” magician Criss Angel also caught Lil Jon’s DJ set. And T-Lo from the group Next and mothers from the reality TV show “Dance Moms” attended Jeff Timmons’ new show “Wired” at Ovation Lounge in Green Valley Ranch.

Hard on the heels of this morning’s announcement that MGM Resorts International and AEG have officially signed a $350 million deal for a new 20,000-seat arena stadium on the Strip comes word that MGM Grand will be taking down its walls! The front façade from the famous gold lion to the north end by M&M’s World is coming down.

Criss Angel survives 'the most dangerous and frightening thing I’ve ever done in my life'

For 10 nail-biting minutes, several thousand people stood in total silence and watched magician Criss Angel inch his way, blindfolded, across two steel beams swaying 50 feet in the air. This was no illusion for the “Believe” star. No tricks, nothing hidden, no sleight of hand or wizardry to divert attention. The "Mindfreak" star, who is shooting a new series of one-hour specials for Spike TV, was in full view of the audience members, who stopped shopping at the Fashion Show mall on the Strip.
