Singer Jason Derulo’s latest visit to Las Vegas was jam-packed and included his girlfriend “American Idol” Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks. The R&B heartthrob capped his weekend Saturday night hosting and performing at Pure in Caesars Palace.
Jason arrived at the hotspot holding hands with Jordin and posed for photographers on the arrivals carpet as fans screamed their names. The couple were seen cuddling and kissing in their VIP booth on Pure’s main stage before Jason took the mic about 1:15 a.m. today and, with Jordin recording the set on her cell phone, performed “We Don’t Wanna Go Home,” “Ridn’ Solo,” “It Girl” and “Whatcha Say” as partygoers sang along.
Fans went wild as he showed off his dance moves and got up close and personal -- but not too close with Jordin nearby! -- and serenaded female fans in the front row with his big hit “In My Head.” After the performance, he gave clubgoers a surprise by previewing his new single “Love Somebody.”
After the performance, he returned to his VIP table and spent the rest of the night drinking and dancing with Sparks and their friends. Before Pure, Jason hosted and performed at nearby Venus Pool Club during the day minus Jordan -- and must have been uncomfortably hot in a tank top with black(!) track pants and red sneakers.
The couple also were connected at the hip at Celine Dion’s show in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Friday night. At this year’s Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena, Jason said that he owed much of his recovery from a rehearsal accident (in which he fractured a vertebrae in his neck) to Jordin, who helped nurse him back to health and remained at his side. “I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for her,” he said.
The couple and their friends also dined at Rao’s in Caesars Palace and enjoyed Rao’s scarpariello, veal piccata, steak pizzaiola, spaghetti bolognese and pasta fagioli after being greeted by owner Frank Pellegrino Jr., who gave them autographed copies of his new cookbook “Rao’s on the Grill.”
