Team Chippendales finishes 2nd on ‘Race,’ continues cancer fight

The finale of the $1 million “The Amazing Race” on CBS was a nail-biting thrill right to the final two minutes, but sadly our two Chippendales dancers were split seconds behind the winning team. Mike Tyson unveils his charity, speaks highly of Agassi and Muppets

By John Katsilometes Mike Tyson formally unveiled his charity organization Mike Tyson Cares on Friday night, trumpeting the foundation in that famed haven of charitable activity: Tabu Ultra Lounge at MGM Grand. The holiday season was kick-started with a free concert by Broadway star Linda Eder in Symphony Park at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday. Linda, a “Star Search” finalist in 1988, won Great White Way acclaim in her award-winning role in the musical “Jekyll and Hyde.” She went onstage in front of the Tim Bavington sculpture for Symphony Park’s first concert.
