It was more than just a romantic moment for 10 lucky couples at 10:10 a.m. today (10/10/10) at the Trevi Fountain at Caesars Palace’s Forum Shops. Not only did each man get down on bended knee for his marriage proposal and slide a diamond engagement ring on the finger of his new fiance, but Flamingo headliner Donny Osmond also followed suit!

Donny re-proposed marriage to his wife of 32 years, and Debbie said yes all over again. The longtime couple locked lips and then they dipped as if he was still on Dancing With the Stars, which he won on Season 9 with pro partner Kym Johnson. Debbie then had to wipe the lipstick off his face so that he could continue to emcee the ceremony.

All 10 bachelors yelled out their proposal “Will you marry me?” and their 10 ladies responded with a loud “Yes!” exactly as the countdown clock hit 10:10 a.m. on 10/10/10. “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime date that won’t come again for another 100 years. And I doubt if any of us will be here then!” Donny joked.

The youngest of the engaged couples were 23 and the oldest were 68 and explained that they’d known each for 55 years but had married others first. Their marriages ended in divorce, so they joined in matrimony. Another couple said they’d been dating for 13 years before taking the plunge.

Donny then walked each couple to Tiffany’s to look at wedding rings. Forum Shops representatives presented each couple with a gift bag that included a Sony camera and a one-week Caribbean resort vacation with an opportunity to marry there.

One man told us that he’d wanted to get married today right after the engagement at Caesars Palace, but the wedding chapel was booked and that the next available date was in two years! Donny told me that at the Flamingo, where he performs nightly with sister Marie, 800 -- yes, 800 -- wedding ceremonies are taking place today.

Tomorrow at Vegas DeLuxe, our exclusive interview with Donny. Not only does he reveal the secrets of his 32-year romance and marriage, but he also candidly admits that there were five times when Debbie wanted to throw him out of their house!

For the first time, he also talks candidly about the lawsuit he’s now battling with former producer Chip Lightman. Donny will tell all in tomorrow’s Vegas DeLuxe interview. The headliner show actually comes to an end under the current contract next week.

Although negotiations continue, nothing is a done deal yet. Donny hopes that they’ll continue for at least another year and said he’d like to see Marie get married again. Third time’s the charm, and “that’s very important to her and to me,” he said.
