Los Angeles rockers Lifehouse were joined by American Idol Season 8 winner Kris Allen last night at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel, and contributing photographer Erik Kabik was on duty for these up close and colorful photo galleries of Jason Wade and his four-man band and the Conway, Ark., singer-songwriter.

Wade and his band -- Rick Woolstenhulme Jr. on drums and percussion, Bryce Soderberg on bass guitar and Ben Carey on guitar, with Wade also on guitar -- broke out big with their single “Hanging by a Moment” in 2001. While the song peaked at No. 2, it stayed in the runner-up spot long enough to be named Billboard’s Single of the Year in 2001. Their hits also include “You and Me,” “Whatever It Takes,” “Breathing,” and “Halfway Gone,” and their songs have been staples on The CW’s Smallville and The Vampire Diaries.

Allen, who Vegas DeLuxe interviewed during his first visit to Las Vegas last year on Dec. 30 for a performance at B.B. King’s Blues Club in The Mirage, has been a regular Las Vegas visitor ever since, with return visits that include last New Year’s Eve to perform at B.B. King’s again and Mandalay Bay Beach, as well as on April 23 to open for Keith Urban at The Joint.

Allen’s hits include “No Boundaries,” “Live Like We’re Dying” and a remake of Kanye West’s “Heartless.” As Mr. Vegas DeLuxe Robin Leach reported yesterday, Allen performed at Coronado High School yesterday before his opening set at The Joint last night.
