The San Diego dance troupe Jabbawockeez won Season 1 of MTV’s Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew, and that title has taken them from appearances on America’s Next Top Model and Dancing With the Stars to performances with Shaquille O’Neal and throughout Las Vegas and now to a three-week run at the Hollywood Theater in MGM Grand.

The high-energy, 85-minute show by the seven-man, white-face-mask-wearing group -- Benjamin Chung, Jeffrey Nguyen, Philippe Tayag, Christopher Gatdula, Joseph Larot, Rynan Paguio and Kevin Brewer -- includes original music by The Bangerz, direction by NappyTabs (Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo), costumes by Kara Saun (the runner-up to Jay McCarroll in Season 1 of Project Runway) and dance troupe guest stars SuperCr3w -- Abenamar Honrubia, Rock Gallego, Jonathan Cruz and Ronnie Albonado.

The show’s highlights include the incredible dancing, of course; the colorful, glittery, hip and urban costumes; the eclectic mix of music, from hip hop, techno to pop; and performances and homages to Gene Kelly, Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” Michael Jackson, The Matrix, Usher’s “In This Club,” “Kiss the Girl” from The Little Mermaid, Vanilla Ice, New Kids on the Block, Bel Biv DeVoe’s “Poison,” Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and the show-ending “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay.

Jabbawockeez, their name derived from the Lewis Carroll poem “Jabberwocky,” are onstage nightly at 9:30 through next Wednesday.
