Today’s the day for the debut of the Strip’s newest adult-only pool lounge and restaurant Liquid at MGM CityCenter’s Aria, while the grand opening is April 8 with DJ Tiesto. Guests can explore the luxurious private cabanas with 40-inch flat-screen TVs, two dipping pools, sprawling chaise lounges and plush day beds surrounding a 1,200-square-foot main pool.

Liquid also offer poolside pampering and a premier party experience Thursdays through Sundays. To celebrate, there’s a Liquid Passion drink made with fresh blood orange puree.

Meantime, the Bud Light folks have teamed up with the Hard Rock Hotel for a five-day World’s Largest Pool Party that began yesterday and continues through Sunday and serves as the opening of the HRH Beach Club. UFC is hosting tomorrow night’s private reception, and then The All American Rejects will perform Saturday night.

Bud’s bosses hope 3,000 people will be partying. ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live is sending correspondent Yehya Mohamed to be an honorary lifeguard, and Sirius XM’s Covino & Rich will broadcast their satellite radio show live poolside. Ustream will broadcast live video of the concert, and a giant NCAA basketball bracket will adorn the entire face of HRH tower with men on high-wires changing scores, positions, victories and losses throughout the first weekend of March Madness.

*Pure Management Group confirmed this morning longtime rumors that it would shut Company Kitchen & Pub House alongside LAX in the Luxor. The space is being converted into casual nightlife venue Company Lounge. It will be open three nights a week in tandem with LAX and serve cocktails in the ultra lounge.
