Despite expected temperatures of over 100 degrees for the Fourth of July weekend, Caesars Palace wants visitors to be cool -- in fact, ice cold. For two days, the Roman Plaza on the Strip front behind Serendipity 3 will be converted into an ice palace. This cold zone will feature snowboarding and skiing on a four-story snow jump.
Professional snowboarders and skiers will give demonstrations on the slopes of Caesars, and it comes complete with a walk-through ice lounge. It’s all part of a promotion for ice-cold Coors Light’s aluminum pints, so if the snow and ice don’t chill you, the brew will.

*Ratings for Holly Madison’s new reality TV series Holly’s World continue to impress E! Entertainment execs that there’ve been preliminary talks about extending the eight-week run and shooting schedule and pushing up the start date of Season 2. Last night, I turned up on the third episode at Holly’s housewarming party, as you can see in this E! clip on YouTube.
It doesn’t show you the scream fest between Holly’s Peepshow co-star Josh Strickland and Holly’s assistant Angel Porrino, so you’ll have to catch a rerun for that heated row. “I don’t want to fight with you,” Angel said in between sobs. “This is not about me, this is not about you. This is about Holly today.” He stormed away after some bleeped-out expletives, as Angel cried: “This is dumb. This is so stupid. I don’t even want to fight anymore.”
