Cheers erupted in Planet Hollywood’s race and sports book close to midnight, and it wasn’t because of a Boston Celtics’ three-pointer over the L.A. Lakers or that the long-shot horse had pulled off a remarkable win. The screams, shouts and smiles were for another filly and the victory by Las Vegas darling Holly Madison and her new E! Entertainment reality TV series.

The premiere episode of Holly’s World was a lightening bolt right out of the gate, and in addition to Holly’s showbiz success headlining on the Strip in Peepshow, the new TV show has created overnight stars in roommate Laura Croft, personal assistant and BFF Angel Porrino and Peepshow co-star Josh Strickland. Holly’s angels have arrived on TV -- stars are born!

Holly might well be Lucille Ball and Mary Tyler Moore rolled into one. She’s a natural and effervescent comedienne. Angel is the most glamorous and sexy co-star since Suzanne Somers wiggled into Three’s Company as Chrissy Snow. Former Playboy centerfold Laura is the vixen who could KO Angelina Jolie’s Lara Croft in a few Tomb Raider adventures. Josh is the handsome, debonair and fun-loving actor and singer who tries to keep his brood of beauties in check. It’s perfect casting, albeit accidental.

Holly’s single life in Las Vegas after leaving Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner and The Playboy Mansion is very much a part of the series, although last night’s premiere was all about the insanity of her calendar shoot in Cancun. Reality TV drama raised its fists when Josh got into a confrontation with a couple of people who let tequila fuel their tempers.

Holly was radiant last night as the pilot and first episode were shown on more than 50 screens in Planet Hollywood’s Playing Field sports and race book. The packed room that included TV executives from L.A. gave her a standing ovation.

“There’ll be a lot of drama every week on the show,” Holly told me. “And we’ll go into my dating life. I’m very excited. It doesn’t seem real, but I’m very happy about it all and that so many people came to celebrate with me. The show was fun. I love it. It turned out what I wanted it to be. I love my cast mates. They are the best ever and so hardworking.

“It was pretty emotional tonight, but there’s more to come in the future episodes. It never stops, and it definitely gets worse. We caught it all on tape. It was all real, but whenever we have a problem and disagreements, we’re such good friends, we always make up. There’s all kinds of drama on Holly’s World. I cry. I lost it a little when things got so busy and overwhelming. It’s just us trying to achieve our goals, get things done and win at what we set out to do or achieve.”

Luxor headliner Carrot Top and I joined Holly for the premiere, as we both show up in future episodes. You’ll find me at her Las Vegas housewarming party in Episode 3. Rapper Too Short also is one of the guests, as are The Girls Next Door co-stars Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson.

Holly is riding high with the adoration of Las Vegas, Holly’s World, her new book and calendar and Peepshow’s renewal through Dec. 31, but her goal is to find the perfect man. She wants to get married and raise a family. We’ll have the full interview about her difficulty finding a good man and what she’s looking for in the perfect mate here at Vegas DeLuxe tomorrow.

THE KARDASHIAN SISTERS

Incidentally, Season 2 of Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami also premiered last night on E! -- before Holly’s World. This morning, online buzz has Khloe and L.A. Lakers husband and star Lamar Odom revealing that she’s pregnant with her first child due in January. The three Kardashian sisters will be here Saturday at Encore’s Surrender nightclub for the Vegas magazine anniversary party, so we’ll check into that rumor. Meantime, Lamar -- win or lose with the Lakers against the Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA Finals tomorrow -- should be with Khloe for the party, and then the couple are off on their belated honeymoon.
