There was an incredible all-star turnout for The Venetian’s Summer Soiree presented by Simon G. Jewelry as the weekend highlight of the JCK jewelry convention that wraps up today.

Among the star names were Robin Thicke, Jessica Lowndes, Nikki Reed, Kelly Bensimon, Gilles Marini, Melissa Rycroft and Tye Strickland, Anna Trebunskaya and Jonathan Roberts, Krysten Ritter, Giuliana and Bill Rancic, Ivan Sergei, Erin Lucas, Joe Manganiello, Finola Hughes, Emily Van Camp, Warren Sapp and Dr. Hollywood.

It was a star-studded musical evening on The Venetian pool deck. Melissa hosted the invitation-only gala, and Robin, emerging Las Vegas country artist C.J. Goldner, Dr. Hollywood and 90210’s Jessica, making her debut, provided the entertainment. Jessica wore Simon G. Jewelry in support of the event.

The stars highlighted the launch of Simon G.'s sustainable line made from recycled musical instruments to benefit Global Green USA. Fans of the line included Twilight star Nikki, who showed her love for precious stones as she flashed the bling of earrings, bangles and a necklace. Giuliana, Kelly, Erin and Melissa also wore pieces from the collection.

Jessica said: “I love all of Simon G. Jewelry’s cocktail rings and necklaces.” Nikki added: “I love how deep the jewelry collection is. Simon G. is so versatile, from amazing, delicate pieces to hardcore, edgy pieces.” She brought her brother to the party, as both are big Robin and Palazzo fans. Nikki laughed: “I have the most comfortable bed in the world here. I have been working so much lately, it is great to relax in a comfortable bed.”

Sex and the City hunk Gilles Marini was so taken by the jewelry that he purchased a new wedding band for his wife. Earlier in the day, the stars were pampered in cabanas at Azure Pool in the Palazzo, where Warren and Gilles talked about the NBA Finals. Kelly, Erin and Krysten soaked up the sun in between spa treatments at Canyon Ranch SpaClub.

In the evening, Jessica made her debut opening for a steamy Robin, who had everyone getting loose on the dance floor. Anna and Jonathan showed off their real-life romance with an intimate duet for the crowd, while Gilles took on the challenge of five women as he flaunted his moves with Kelly, Anna, Erin, Emily and Finola. Melissa and Tye were spotted in a corner cuddling and slow dancing.

Even when the performances were finished, the stars refused to end the night early, so they all had a late dinner at The Venetian’s Aquaknox, with Nikki ecstatic as she had halibut for the first time. Afterward, Gilles, Anna and Jonathan continued the party at Tao, and Robin booked a table at Tao Beach the next day.

The stars also hit the newly opened Timpano Tavern at The Venetian, a modern-day tavern with American cuisine. THOMAS SABO GRAND OPENING

Sterling silver maestro and international jewelry designer Thomas Sabo hosted the VIP grand opening of his second location in Las Vegas at The Grand Canal Shoppes in The Venetian on Friday, and Nicky Hilton, The City socialite Olivia Palermo and BMX rider Ricardo Laguna were among the 200 guests who admired the jewelry before heading next door to Tao for the private after-party. To celebrate the opening, Mayor Oscar Goodman proclaimed June 4 “Thomas Sabo Day.”

“We believe Las Vegas is one of the best retail destinations in the world, and we are excited to grow and expand our brand within this vibrant city,” Thomas said. “Our first Las Vegas store in Fashion Show mall has been a tremendous success, and we believe that a location in The Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian in the heart of the Strip will attract even more attention from visitors and locals. To commemorate our bond with Las Vegas, we have designed some special jewelry and charms that represent the heart and passion of the city.”

Thomas has dedicated more than 25 years of his life to designing jewelry and, after opening his first shop in Germany, the brand quickly expanded to more than 160 stores on five continents. Stores have been recently opened in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore and are slated to open in Perth, Sydney and London. Thanks again to Christopher for posting his videos on YouTube.
