As we reported yesterday, first lady Michelle Obama spoke at Red Rock Canyon yesterday afternoon in support of the new child health initiative Let’s Move Outside!, with Nevada Sen. Harry Reid on hand for the ceremony.
Let’s Move Outside! is a component of the broader Let’s Move! program with the overall goal of curbing childhood obesity. Michelle delivered the keynote address at the 2010 Women’s Summit in Reno before arriving in Las Vegas. President Obama visited Las Vegas in February.
Contributing photographer Scott Harrison was at Red Rock Canyon for Michelle’s appearance, and loyal VDLX reader Richard Corey posted his videos of the first lady on YouTube.
