From July 14 through Aug. 4, Robin Leach will be relaxing under the Tuscan sun on his annual vacation and keeping his eyes on what’s happening in Las Vegas from Italy. Meantime, a kindly crew of Las Vegas celebrities and VIPs has agreed to write guest columns for Vegas DeLuxe.

Hey, gang! Josh Strickland here, and I’m honored that Robin Leach asked me to fill in for him while he is away. Before I moved here to star in Peepshow, I always used to watch Robin on television. I’m proud to call him a friend and grateful that he asked me.
This has been a crazy summer so far. In addition to starring in Peepshow at Planet Hollywood six nights a week, I also was fortunate enough that Holly Madison, who also stars in Peepshow, asked me to be a part of Holly’s World, her reality TV show on E! Entertainment.
We really just hit it off when she joined Peepshow and have become great friends. I’m so proud of how hard she’s worked to get her own show. She totally deserves it, and it is so much fun to be a part of Holly’s World.
I’m sure if you have watched the show, you’ve seen quite a bit of drama … LOL. All of us (Holly, Angel Porrino, Laura Croft and I) love one another dearly. But when you have cameras following you 24 hours a day, some drama is bound to ensue. At the end of the day, we all love one another and are as thick as thieves. It’s not all drama all the time! Sometimes we really cut loose, and you’ll see a good deal of that this season, as well.
I’m so very lucky with everything that has happened since I moved to Las Vegas. I arrived here not really knowing anybody and not knowing what I was getting into. I relocated from New York, where I was starring as Tarzan, and didn’t have any idea what to expect.
What I found here really surprised me. Las Vegas is such a great town. It really feels like a small town once you get away from The Strip, and you can find so much to do here. I’m also so lucky to have a great job in Peepshow that surrounds me with wonderful performers.
Plus, that’s how I met Holly, and she really has become one of my best friends in the world. If you haven’t seen Peepshow yet, you should. It’s such a fun show, and we all have a great time together every night -- and I think that shows in our performance.
The other part that I love about this town is the collection of amazing performers both on and off The Strip. The musicians who live and work here are world class, and I had no idea of that before I moved here. I’m working on some of my own music that I hope to be able to show off soon, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for that.
I guess that’s it for me. Thanks, you all, so much for tuning in to Holly’s World. We really hope you like it. And come see us in Peepshow soon. I promise you the time of your life!
