For only the second time in the Miss America Pageant’s rich history, the organization is offering two exclusive auction packages that get you up close to the contestants and an opportunity moments after the crowning to meet the new winner. You have until next Tuesday to join in the auction frenzy. It’s also for a good cause, with the proceeds going to benefit the Miss America Scholarship Fund. Go to Ticketmaster and type in the keywords Miss America Auction.

The first unique package lets you see what the judges see. Two premium front-row seats are up for bid for all three preliminary nights of competition (Jan. 26-28), and then the pageant telecast live on Jan. 30. The second package is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to go behind the scenes at Miss America. Not only could you win two VIP premium front-row tickets to the preliminaries and the final, but it also includes an exclusive meet-and-greet with all the 2010 Miss America Pageant contestants and 2009 Miss America Katie Stam.

You also will receive access to the post-crowning press conference, introducing our new 2010 Miss America, which has never before been opened to anyone other than media, and two tickets to the post-crowning VIP party with former Miss Americas and a photo with 2010 Miss America. The minimum bid for this package is $2,500.

And please join me when I host the Evening of Dreams cocktail reception and gala on Jan. 29.
