The gorgeous supermodels of the eagerly awaited Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition are headed here to unveil the lush, tropical layouts next week on Wednesday, and rockers Maroon 5 will perform for them at the Hard Rock Hotel. The glamour girls also will visit celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse’s Stadium sportsbook and grill in the Palazzo.

These are just two highlights of the extraordinary schedule of more than a dozen public and private events here for the sassy, sexy swimsuit sensations organized by our Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority. The top-selling edition goes on sale as they arrive here a week from tomorrow.

The Mirage is the official partner host for S.I. Swimsuit 2010, and its Jet nightclub throws the premiere night party. Vanity at the Hard Rock Hotel and Tao in The Venetian will host back-to-back marquee events featuring the 2010 swimsuit models on their jam-packed three-day visit.
