Top executives from the Lingerie Football League officially announced today the expansion with a Las Vegas franchise and details of the Eighth Annual Lingerie Bowl at the Thomas & Mack Center on Super Bowl Sunday on Feb. 6.
Members of the new Las Vegas team led by former Baywatch beauty and Fantasy headliner at the Luxor Angelica Bridges unveiled the specially designed uniforms for the East West conference finals. Angelica will probably play quarterback and be named captain of the Las Vegas team. She has filmed MTV spots for the upcoming league games and the Lingerie Bowl.

VegasDeLuxe.com has reported on the developments for months, and it all was confirmed this afternoon at New York-New York, which will be named the official hotel for Lingerie Bowl Week. LFL Chairman and founder Mitchell Mortaza was on hand with several Las Vegas players and hotel President Cynthia Kiser Murphey.
I can confirm exclusively that along with Angelica, Las Vegas players likely will include Catherine Sierra, Elizabeth Kempton, Erika Reynada, Jackie Savitt, Jillian Grant, Kandice Golar, Mandiu Vivona, Nicole Zarate, Nijah Perkins, Richelle Urenda, Sarah Frechete, Stephanie Brewster, Summer Soltis-McCoy, Tiffany Patrice White, Vanessa Miranda Lobo and Vernessa Altman-Stone. They face spring tryouts and then a tough summer camp for final selection to start the September 2011 season.

I will be emcee of the Las Vegas Lingerie Bowl during Super Bowl weekend here. To get a feel of what to expect, I went to L.A. last week to join Angelica to watch the Los Angeles Temptations play the Dallas Desire. I did the coin toss, and this is high-speed action with tough, hard-hitting excitement that’s deemed “the perfect storm of sports and entertainment.” The scantily clad and sexy girls aren’t frightened to tackle and take down one another -- a sure-fire recipe for success in Sin City.
The Lingerie Bowl premiered in 2004, drawing millions of viewers worldwide and featuring celebrity hosts, NFL greats, music artists and the 7-on-7 full-contact tackle football game played by some of America's most attractive and athletic models. Each season, LFL designs custom uniforms for the Lingerie Bowl. This year’s uniforms will be modeled by players from the newly formed Las Vegas team, whose name will be announced in the week leading up to Lingerie Bowl VIII. LFL games are broadcast on MTV on Fridays during the season.

Fans can now vote on that name at lasvegas@lflus.com. In the running: Vegas Vixens, Vegas Vipers, Vegas Victors, Vegas Vengeance, Vegas Violators, Vegas Valiants, Vegas Vigilantes and Las Vegas Sin. LFL has expanded to 10 franchises and will add four next fall -- in Las Vegas and three other cities to be named.
