Photos: Peepshow’s Angel Porrino: ‘I’m really scared about going topless’

“I’m really scared about going topless,” said blonde beauty Angel Porrino as she rehearsed last night for her starring role in Peepshow at Planet Hollywood. Angel takes over for a one-week special run Sept. 13-19 when her gal pal and boss Holly Madison takes a one-week vacation to Florida.
“I’ve never done that before, nothing like it,” Angel continued. “But I’ll do it, and hopefully the show will open doors for me to do more with a showbiz career.”
The 21-year-old single mom has already been fitted for her onstage wardrobe, including the blue corset and lingerie that she’ll shed a la Holly in the closing number with a wrap-around, white feather boa for the big moment.
Angel posed exclusively for contributing photographer Tom Donoghue, and he also caught Holly stopping by to see how her protegee was doing. Holly was thrilled with Angel’s workout and gave her a congratulations hug.
“Peepshow is in good hands with Angel while I’m away. Hopefully, I’ll still have my job when I get back from a much-needed vacation!” Holly laughed. Holly was the one who suggested to her BASE producers that they hire Angel for the striptease spectacular.
Angel has been learning all the dance routines, the silks, the pink paint bed number and the sexy bathtub splash scenes. “I’m loving the whole experience,” she told me when we met at Mandalay Bay last week during the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant.
“But I’m scared about my entrance when I come tumbling down from the ceiling on the silks. I’ve never done anything like that before. I’m certain I’ll have conquered all the fears by opening night, and hopefully I won’t even think about falling or going topless by the time I have to do it for an audience.”
Holly chimed in: “She’s doing great with the rehearsals. She’ll be wonderful. The audiences are going to love her. They’ve already fallen in love with her on my Holly’s World reality TV series. They’re going to really adore her in real life.”
Angel modeled for the first time for our photos Holly’s new Syc Luv fashion line of elaborate hoodies, tees, tank tops and fluffy “naughty logo” boots. Angel gave Syc Luv gifts to the Miss Universe judges, pageant owner Donald Trump and 2009 Miss Universe Stefania Fernandez as Jabbawockeez stopped by and posed for photographs.
Holly’s fashion line will be officially unveiled this fall when the entire line is completed, but we wanted to show you this first look now. Senior Editor John Katsilometes recently wrote about Angel in his The Kats Report on Las Vegas Sun’s Web site.
Incidentally, Peepshow now offers a gorgeous new souvenir program that Holly created and edited herself. When she worked at Playboy, she edited Playmate photos for owner Hugh Hefner, and here for the program, she selected all the photographs and layouts, including the centerfold pose. The souvenir program is available in the Peepshow boutique or with the purchase of the VIP package that includes stage-front cabaret seating and a meet-and-greet with Holly after the show.
Holly and her Peepshow and Holly’s World co-star Josh Strickland are contracted for Peepshow through year’s end and both have indicated that they’ll sign next year’s renewal.
