The king of the ring is back! Las Vegas resident Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. soundly and unanimously defeated Juan Manuel Marquez in 12 rounds at MGM Grand Garden Arena tonight. Floyd didn’t win with a KO, but it was a knockout performance!

A few quick reporter’s notes:
Tyrese performed the national anthem. Among the celebrities spotted from where I sat at ringside: California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Lopez, Mike Tyson, Charles Barkley and Sean “P.Diddy” Combs, who hosted an afternoon pool party at MGM Grand’s Wet Republic today -- click HERE for that story.
Wrestler Triple H was part of Floyd’s entourage, and “Sugar” Shane Mosley made a commotion in the ring after the bout, demanding that he have a chance at Money.
