Two incredible feats take place on TV tonight featuring Las Vegas and our stars. Luxor headliner and Believe star Criss Angel will once again attempt the impossible on his A&E series Mindfreak by leaping from the top of the Luxor to the ground faster than a falling object he’ll drop -- and then catch!
Then on Bravo’s Top Chef: Las Vegas, the remaining contestants will fly high with our U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds out at Nellis Air Force Base here. Last week, the chefs tackled a bachelor and bachelorette party at poolside, with Todd English of Olives at the Bellagio as celebrity chef guest judge. Restaurateur Mark Peel, who helped Wolfgang Puck open the original Spago for its first three years, will be the guest judge tonight.
Steve Wynn’s odds-maker Johnny Avello has updated the latest standings of the chefs after last week’s episode. Please remember that these statistics are for entertainment purposes only and not for gaming. This week’s Top 8, with opening and current odds, are Michael Voltaggio, 11/1 and 7/2; Jennifer Carroll, 20/1 and 9/2; Kevin Gillespie, 8/1 and 5/1; Bryan Voltaggio, 15/1 and 6/1; Eli Kirshtein, 22/1 and 10/1; Laurine Wickett, 14/1 and 14/1; Hector Santiago, 18/1 and 15/1; and Michael Isabella, 25/1 and 16/1.
Then tonight in nearly head-to-head TV competition, Criss will attempt to accomplish the most impossible and mind-boggling transposition in Mindfreak history -- and perhaps magic history: He will teleport himself -- in one continuous camera shot -- from one location to another.
Defying Newton’s Law of Gravity, Criss will stand more than 250 feet above the Las Vegas Strip, drop an object and incredibly be down on the Strip in time to catch it. Spectators at both the top and the bottom will serves as witnesses to the instant disappearance and reappearance.

Nobody can deny that Criss attempts -- and pulls off -- some of the most creative magic ever attempted! He continues with his Cirque du Soleil Believe show nightly at the Luxor in addition to Season 5 of Mindfreak shows.
