The new adult cabaret Peepshow at Planet Hollywood has gone truly topless! Vegas DeLuxe can reveal that the principals and the dancers in the hit burlesque show have all doffed the expensive Swarovski crystal pasties!
However, co-stars Mel B, Scary Spice of the Spice Girls, and General Hospital vixen Kelly Monaco are still slightly covered. In the “Brick House” scene, Mel is screened by only two strategically placed bricks, and in the bed scene, Kelly is covered by only painted handprints!

I am the first to realize that this is not earth-shattering news for which we should stop the presses, but in our never-ending quest for all the news that’s fit to print from the Strip, I am duty bound to report it! (Yes, I’m smiling as I type!)
The cast decision to go truly topless was made quietly -- and without announcement -- over the weekend. I confirmed the news yesterday, and, yes, the temperature has risen in the mezzanine theater at Planet Hollywood ever since! “It’s hotter than you can imagine,” joked one of my sources!
I’m told the dancers are thrilled to bare all! I’ve always been baffled by the archaic code of no nipples in view, yet natural or silicone shaping is fine and dandy! I prefer the illusion of nudity and tantalizing, slightly covered mystique to the blatant show all, but apparently it’s far more freeing for both those onstage and in the audience!
Peepshow creator, director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell wanted his dancers slightly covered to keep the charm of burlesque intact but gave in amicably to the cast and producers who wanted to go fully topless!

Incidentally, actress Lisa Rinna, who bares all in the current issue of Playboy and is the cover model, attended the first fully topless weekend late show. In town with husband Harry Hamlin to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary, Lisa went backstage to meet Mel, Kelly and the dancers -- and congratulated them on the hot and fun show.
