Rumors swirl about Celine Dion’s secret Vegas trip — and pregnancy news

Ever since Vegas DeLuxe posted these two photos of superstar singer Celine Dion in late January hinting about another in-vitro pregnancy, we've been watching and waiting for her official confirmation. Now we also can exclusively reveal that she made a top secret visit here to her Lake Las Vegas home about a month ago. During the trip, which was confirmed just this afternoon, Celine returned to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace without being spotted. She ended a successful five-year residency of her A New Day show there on Dec. 15, 2007.

Since then, she has been on her Taking Chances world tour, which set box office records and ended in her hometown of Montreal on Feb. 28 after the mysterious Vegas visit.
Celine met with Caesars Palace and AEG/Concerts West executives, watched Cher’s show and then went back to her own former dressing room to meet her successor on Feb. 25. Celine’s team wouldn’t confirm or deny my questions about the reported pregnancy but did send the Cher photo for us to run on Vegas DeLuxe.
The first hint of a possible confirmation came Tuesday when we also quoted Celine from her cover story in the current issue of Hello Magazine in Canada. Click HERE for our report where she hinted strongly how much she was looking forward to an 18-month vacation from work and to try for a second child. The 40-year-old Canadian songbird is already the mother to 8-year-old son Rene Charles, who was born at their Florida estate on Jan. 25, 2001.

Celine has never made a secret of the fact that she and manager husband Rene Angelil had frozen eggs for a second in-vitro procedure. In fact, as Celine says in her own video, her life is an open book for her fans. Click HERE for that video (it takes about 30 seconds to upload).
The pregnancy rumors intensified when Celine herself promised a surprise announcement this weekend. She has a TV special set for Monday night in Montreal and is taking part in a mega-star turnout for my longtime friend and former Lido de Paris Strip star Line Renaud’s AIDS telethon in Paris tonight.
If she does confirm the rumors, Vegas DeLuxe extends many congratulations to Celine and Rene -- and, as a salute to them and their family, we replay some of her videos to celebrate! If confirmed, we also wish Celine a safe pregnancy.
