Executives of The Rio paid the ultimate compliment to their resident headliner magicians Penn & Teller, who are celebrating their 35-year anniversary as showbiz partners.

The Rio as of this evening is adorned with a 26-story plastic see-through poster of the twosome. Believed to be the largest image ever attached to a resort casino, it covers 27,000 square feet over the southeast side of the all-suites hotel on Flamingo.

The Rio is celebrating Penn & Teller's 35th anniversary with this grand tribute.

Contributing photographer Erik Kabik was on hand for the ceremony this evening and balanced himself atop a parking garage roof for some of his shots. Despite the high winds, Erik managed to get some great photos of the duo who perform their death-defying illusions nightly in their own theater at The Rio.

Check back here soon for Vegas DeLuxe’s interview with the always-talkative Penn Gillette.
