It was a coast-to-coast whistle-stop tour, but the Jonas Brothers’ visit in Las Vegas lasted less than 60 seconds at Rave Motion Pictures in Town Square -- a five-minute ride from McCarran International Airport where their private jet touched down, idled and took off.

Said our contributing photographer Erik Kabik, who was on camera duty: “This was less than one minute of shear utter chaos. It was impossible to get more or better pics to share with you. They came in the crowd, which totally mobbed them, and security pulled them right out of there before we could even settle into getting a good shot.”

One of my on-hand spywitnesses told me: “The visit should have been titled ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’ -- in a way, it was insulting to the fans, but they mobbed them and it got completely out of control. They had to be removed for their safety.

“The teens, and even the adults, present really didn't know what had happened to make them come and go so fast. I think they really believed that they would be coming back. Of course there were lots of tears and screams.”

Greg Maddux and his family were among the only 30 people who got to meet the Jonas Brothers privately at a secret location elsewhere in Town Square. The pop music heartthrob trio are big baseball fans!

Reporters and TV cameramen who had been tipped off in advance to the visit were not permitted to ask any questions, although several crews ambushed them in the parking lot as they ran back to the safety of their limousine to return to the airport.

Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience took in an estimated $12 million at the box office over the weekend, which was widely regarded by industry experts as disappointing.
