What a thrill and an honor, even though folks will be walking all over me from now on! Last night, I was presented with my very own star on the Walk of Fame at the Brenden Theatres in the Palms to bring an end to the successful 11th Annual CineVegas Film Festival. I even had a 12-person drum roll for the welcome!

Palms President George Maloof, Brenden Theatres CEO Johnny Brenden and CineVegas Artistic Director Trevor Groth officiated at the ceremony, and our contributing photographers Denise Truscello and Erik Kabik captured the action, as did Vegas DeLuxe reader Richard Corey with his seven(!) videos now posted on YouTube (below are two videos). Said George: “It was an absolutely great event.”

Good friend Holly Madison and reality star girlfriend Laura Croft were joined by Dar and Jaylene, two of the beauties from Fantasy at the Luxor, and the stunning Alizma triplets to add their glamour to the event. Representatives from Planet Hollywood and The Venetian joined Luxor President Felix Rappaport for the star unveiling.

Holly came from her Peepshow rehearsals, and it was the first day she had rehearsed the closing erotic bathtub sequence. “It was so much fun splashing in the water,” laughed Holly before she raced back to Planet Hollywood for the lighting switch to Planet Holly for her publicity photo session. Today, she films the show’s opening video sequence with her dog Napoleon. Thursday she’s on the cover of Las Vegas Weekly with a 10,000-word story from our Vegas DeLuxe roving editor Johnny Kats.

Kats and our editor Don Chareunsy were there, too, with my great friends hair color king Michael Boychuck, his wife Karen, Crazy Girls producer Norbert Aleman, attorney Robert Sparks, my gossip guru pal Norm Clarke, PR pals Frank Lieberman and Ken Langdon and Best Models Agency President Ken Henderson.

I’ve reported on the entertainment scene in England and America for more than 50 years on radio and television, in print and now online. It’s all been fabulous! I’m not an actor, yet I even appeared in two movies: She-Devil with Meryl Streep and Roseanne Barr and Troop Beverly Hills with Shelley Long. Take a look -- and a laugh at my hair from 35 years ago! I helped launch Entertainment Tonight now in its 25th year and The Food Network, and in between, there was that 14-year hit titled Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous -- all told well over 500 hours of television.
