Fifty members of Snoop Dogg’s Pomona Steelers football team will cheer him on today at high noon when his wax image is unveiled at Madame Tussauds.

Last October, the superstar rapper sat for hours with sculptors and artisans for hundreds of measurements. Now his wax double will be unveiled and take pride of place in the On Stage area of the museum at The Venetian.

Snoop is one of only three rap stars in the worldwide collection, and he donated his own clothes to adorn the figure for the occasion. Snoop added a baseball jacket from his own new clothing line to outfit the wax figure.

Check back later to Vegas DeLuxe as we slowly work our way through all the weekend photos and add his celebration to kick off the new pool season at Rehab in the Hard Rock Hotel.
