A British newspaper story last week about David Bowie’s son Duncan Jones, named Zowie Bowie at birth, mistakenly used a photo of singer Chris Phillips from our Zowie Bowie duo at the Palms. The British singer’s son tracked down Chris and sent an email introducing himself and asking for all information possible about the counterpart.

Our tan, blond-haired singer responded, and when the Brit discovered that the duo was based in Las Vegas, he told them in a classy follow-up email that he would be here in June to attend CineVegas -- and the two Zowie Bowies should meet up for a get-together!

“He was really nice about it,” Chris told Vegas DeLuxe. “I was flattered he took the time to find Marley and me and reach out to us. With any luck, we’ll get to meet him in June.

“I’m a big fan of his father’s and would love to have him at the show. While he’s in Vegas, we’ll invite him to come to our show, and we’ll go see his film.”
